Rule Books are now available for purchase here, and the Atlas is available here. While the Rule Book and maps are required for play, they are not necessarily required for the land grab, below.
You will find the following two documents extremely helpful:
For the sake of fairness, positions will be distributed during a land grab. The assignment of initial player positions will work like this:
- Players will purchase at least one three-block of turns here. E-mail from players without credit will not be considered during the land grab.
- Each player chooses three positions in order of preference.
- The landgrab begins at precisely noon (PDT) on Saturday, December 8 and ends precisely 48 hours later, at noon (PDT) on Monday, December 10.
- During the time of the landgrab, paid players may e-mail their preference list to startup [at] sardarthion.com.
- Players will generally be assigned their first choice.
- In the event that two players have the same first choice, the winner will be determined randomly, and the losing player will receive his second choice.
- In the event that two players, having lost their first choice, have the same second choice, the winner will be determined randomly, and the losing player will receive his third choice.
Results of the land grab will be published on Tuesday, December 11. Stat sheets will be e-mailed at that time, and the Turn Zero Newsletter will be published to this site.
After the conclusion of the land grab, all remaining positions will be open on a first-come, first-served basis.
