Other than the haiku and Cappagarnia, does anyone have any rumors?
The most exciting thing I did was build a new stadium.

In regards your new signature- How would Illuvar recognize something smart? And Yagnarists are hard to kill, particularly for flash pansies like him.

I have a guess.
There are critters somewhere in the west, near Averon. Possibly a portal, possibly world-fallen. Thom seems to like those sorts of things. I further have the suspicion that they look like Daleks, and are about as friendly.
This is falls into the catagory of WAG for Wild Assed Guess.

I thinks it's a new kindred- something amphibian, maybe. The whole Dalek thing is a little high-tech, no?

Preacher - Thom's being very coy and oddly protective. I think he thinks we'll just let it die down. I suspect if we pursue it we'll get a bucket of piss.
Now ... for that haiku... must think more.

Cutting through crisp air The sword our scripture in steel Leaves before the wind
WAG from the Mother. Cutting through crisp air might mean somebody has a buttload of airships. The Sword/Our scripture in steel seems to refer to Duedhyn. No idea about the leaves bit.

Leaves before the wind The first thing that pops to mind is that leaves are in the wind during the fall. Fall occurs before winter. Perhaps Thom is saying that the Ice will get worse. Of course when I mentioned to Thom that I wasn't much of a poetry/literature kind of guy, he called me a Philistine. So perhaps you should take my guess with a grain of sailt... And a shot of tequila with a lemon wedge.

Our Order scouts have just informed me that the enemy scouts have been spotted in the region of Tythyen. Grandmaster Allyn Dhanos believes the main enemy army is very close by and is manuvering his armies into the region. The battle for Duedhyn will like occur there. That is, if the battle hasn't already begun.
May Urda protect the Grandmaster, the Prophet Barugh and all Urda's soldiers who would do her will and correct The Balance.

Griffons if Duedhyn.
Duedhni Gryffons were not involved in this round of fighting, although Duedhni airships were...

Leaves before the wind is purposely misleading.
The leaves are not literal, they are figurative. This new enemy strikes and vanishes.
Leaves (as in takes off) before (as in ahead of) the wind (before you even knew they were there)
Now there's a WAG, :-)
