There are two moons orbiting the planet, the Moon and the Wanderer. I assume Theo is asking if the comet is half the size of the Moon or the Wanderer.

If it's half the size of the Wanderer then we're a lot better off.  I assume it's the other slightly more massive one he is referring to though.
