If a Gate or Mana Battery is listed as "Dead" or "Broken"
1. Can those items be repaired?
2. Can their destination settings determined such that a new gate or repaired gate would re-establish the connection?

2. Can their destination settings determined such that a new gate or repaired gate would re-establish the connection?
I would think that the repair cost would be similar to repairing ruins. And once repaired I don't think it would necessarily change the nature of the gate or its destinations. |

I would think that the repair cost would be similar to repairing ruins. And once repaired I don't think it would necessarily change the nature of the gate or its destinations.
I guess it depends on how gates are 'linked'. Has anyone built a gate? |

I guess it comes down to 'plausible'. I would think 'Dead' just means they dont have any power similar to batteries today, broken may be a bit difficult, but possible. I'd say give it a shot and let us know! |

Sam Carter could repair a gate... I don't think she ever built one though. |

Good advice and ideas ya'll. I can build a gate no problem. My main hope is to be able to build a new one or hopefully repair the old one but still go to the same destination. |
