Ladies and Gents, I'd like to ask your advice. My daughter is looking to get her boyfriend (a fellow gaming geek) some cool dice for Christmas. He's into cyberpunk in general and Shadowrun in particular.

There are many cool ones available at  http://www.shapeways.com/shops/madebywombat , but we aren't sure which (if any) of the styles would be most 'cyberpunky'. Any useful advice would be appreciated!

I like the Moiré Dice towards the end they have a very cyberpunk feel to me.. Cheesy

holy hell.....$5-15 / die.  Yes they are cool looking but if he's playin shadowrun, i know at times a block of 12 wouldn't even be enough.

I'd um...stay away from the spiky stuff, they look cool but are completely impractical to roll decent with.  The spore ones are cool.

Yeah, the prices are stupid high- but it's her first Christmas with a paying job and a boyfriend, so she's going to get a little silly. As long as she also gets me something nice, I'm okay with it.  Grin

Does anyone know of any other sources for cool dice?

Like that no.  But most dice manufactures will offer custom engraving i think.  check www.chessex.com.
