Oh no..no...no.
The 13th child of a long established, and currently ruling Danoldan Clan was born with, let's say, peculiar traits.
The royal family you are referring to is another thing that we're not supposed to talk about anymore either.

Sorry to have my facts wrong. I did remember those event, though. It was a long time ago. I used to have those faxes until fairly recently. I think I tossed them when we moved to Shelton about 3 years ago. I never expected Thom to resurrect the game. When I joined the last game, I went through all the newsfaxes(newsfaxi?) I could find on the web server and printed them out for a bit of light reading. Took about 150 pages or so. Thank goodness for laser printers. Even back then, they were cheap to use. One printer, one cartridge, and it lasted us 5 years.

Head down and doing results. I trust nobody minds?
I hear he got a job and starts Monday so I'm crossing fingers (not streams!) we'll get the Newsfax before Monday. Earthquake sounds like FUN! It's the one thing I regret not casting while I was an Urdan. I did get an Avatar though which is nice. But didn't you get the something like "Urda the Baby Seal" or something like that? Yeah but she could spontaneously convert a region a turn into being Urdan...you know...like other nation's homelands? Plus she was really a people person. We'll see how I do with the Yaggie avatar.

One printer, one cartridge, and it lasted us 5 years. If there is enough interest, I could be persuaded to publish them in book form. The original files are long since gone, but I'd be willing to *shudder* scan them when I have time. Since you are so busy, I'd be willing to volunteer for that task. My scanner works really well. I've not done much OCR with it yet, but I'd be willing to give it a go. Until about a year ago, I had electronic copies of the news for quite a few turns. They were on 3.5 inch floppies.

I don't suppose Thom would be willing to divulge what was is that pit a bunch of us were getting ready to try and invade.
It was probably this... Pretty close. It's not so much "what's in the pit" as "where does the rabbit hole lead?" Wasn't it a gate to another world or something like that? It was the gate to the home of Eris...if she wasn't a god then she was a being of supreme power. I sent a high ability leader in there with an equally high ability leader on the outside playing 'hold the rope' and my BA9 leader managed to THROW a message through before he was less than nicely assimilated. So yeah...that would have sucked. Why you think I never made Dimirci my newest province? Stockpiling troops and AP for the interplanetary war.

Paul,
Remember when you were emperor of Priban...did you know the Sorcerors of Kin Pei allied with me even after you stripped the Pribani house I had subverted of it's rank?
Good times.

Obviously you don't remember that I voted against the Kimbujo Degradation Act and then spent 10 ISI vetoing it the next turn. (I just finished reading turns 32 & 33.)
