Thom was born in a small town in central Germany but grew up in urban Chicago. How he arrived in Tacoma is anybody’s guess. He’s a whiz with words, focusing his talents on writing, book design, and even what he insists on calling “marketing mojo”.

Thom is the author of The King in Yellow and Three Black Ravens. He is also the evil genius responsible for Cruenti Dei.

A bibliophile, he has a passion for early book design. There is absolutely no truth to the rumour that he speaks French. If he had a single thing to tell you, it would be this: collect metaphors.
